Board Positions

Peachtree City Airport Authority (PCAA)

The City of Peachtree City is currently accepting applications for volunteers to serve on the Peachtree City Airport Authority (PCAA). To serve on the Airport Authority, applicants must be a legal resident of Georgia, have lived in Peachtree City for at least six months prior to the date the application was submitted, and be eligible to vote in Peachtree City Municipal elections. Elected officials of any governmental jurisdiction in the county and Peachtree City employees are not eligible for appointment. The Mayor and Council appoint PCAA members to five-year terms. The meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Aviation Center, 7 Falcon Field.

The City will be accepting applications and resumes for this position. Please return all applications to Stacey Collins at City Hall, 151 Willowbend Road, Peachtree City, GA 30269, no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022.

Airport Authority Application

The Peachtree City Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) Board

The Peachtree City Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is currently accepting applications for volunteers to serve on their Board. At this time, we are seeking volunteers with current or previous tourism/hospitality-related experience and, who are citizens of, or persons conducting business within, the City of Peachtree City. Members of this board serve a two-year term.

The City will be accepting applications and resumes for these positions. All applications must be returned to Stacey Collins at City Hall, 151 Willowbend Road, Peachtree City, GA 30269 no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022. Applications are available at City Hall or on our website at www.peachtree-city.org.

Planning Commission Volunteer Board

The City of Peachtree City is currently accepting applications to serve as a volunteer on the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission is a volunteer board that reviews conceptual site plans, landscape plans, and some non-residential building elevations for development in Peachtree City. The Commission also provides input to the Mayor and City Council on zoning requests, annexation requests, and assists with the regular update of the City’s Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Plan.

The Planning Commission is comprised of five members appointed to three-year terms. Meetings are on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Members are required to attend a minimum of eighty percent (80%) of all meetings. Appointees will also be required to attend various Planning Commission training classes and meetings paid for by the City as part of their service on the Commission.

Applicants must be a legal resident of the State of Georgia, have been a resident of Peachtree City for at least six months prior to the date an application is submitted, and be eligible to vote in Peachtree City Municipal elections. Elected officials of any governmental jurisdiction in the County and City employees are not eligible for appointment.
