Peachtree City Walk for Water
Friday, April 30, 2021
We are excited to be back in person for the Second Annual Peachtree City Walk4Water. Although virtual, last year was a great success. We raised $15,000 that went to build fresh water wells in villages in Zambia and Malawi.
Walk4Water, a program of Healing Hands International, helps to raise awareness and funds for the 785 million people in the world who do not have access to clean drinking water. That is more than double the U.S. population! Women and children in these impoverished areas walk an average of 4 miles a day only to bring home dirty water.
Our walk will make the four-mile loop around Lake Peachtree, beginning and ending at Peachtree City Church of Christ. Check in begins at 5:30 with the walk beginning at 6:30. If you prefer to avoid the crowd, you may walk virtually anytime between April 30th and May 15th. Our goal this year is to raise $15,000.
