Financial Literacy 101 for College Students

Intended for Ages 18-25, Registration Required

  • ½ of college students have more than 4 credit cards

  • 70% leave school with $40,000 in loan debt

  • When tested on financial concepts, only 24% of millennial's demonstrated basic financial knowledge.

Many young people are leaving high school and college without a basic understanding of how to handle money, and starting their first jobs with little idea of what to do with their paychecks.

At this workshop you will learn:

  • Financial Basics for millennials

  • All about credit scores

  • How Student Loans impact your credit

  • Repaying your Student Loans

  • Paying for graduate school

  • Living with your parents: should you stay or should you go?

  • What to do when you turn 26 and are no longer on your parents’ health insurance plan
