Dear Residents of Peachtree City,
We have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 virus, this situation has evolved rapidly and changes day to day. Out of concern for everyone’s health and safety effective today, Monday March 16th we will be closing all City Buildings for a two-week period ending March 29th 2020. Of course we will be continuing to follow events as they unfold.
City employees will continue to report to work as normal. All on-line City services will continue as usual.
City services, including permit applications, and golf cart registrations are available online. Also, you can call city hall for more information.
Due to City closures all events held on city property will be canceled till the end of April 2020. Our staff will be meeting at the end of the week to reevaluate the status of these canceled events.
Peachtree City Library will close at 5 p.m. today Monday, March 16th, and will remain closed through March 29th. Further, all library programs and meetings at the Library are cancelled through April 30th.
Library users are encouraged to keep all library materials for the time being. Do NOT leave them in the outside book returns if at all possible. Library fines incurred during the closure of the facility will be waived.
We will continue to assess the situation closely and will update you as the situation warrants.
