Multi-Use Path & Motorized Cart Safety Certification Program
Peachtree City's hallmark is its 100-mile network of multi-use paths for pedestrians, cyclists, and golf carts. Peachtree City residents can go from neighborhood to shopping centers, schools, and parks through the wooded scenery that makes Peachtree City special. With such a unique transportation system, safety on our multi-use path system is a priority.
The Peachtree City Police Department has several programs in place to provide for a safe environment on the city's multi-use path system. The department has developed the first multi-use path safety program in the nation for motorized carts. This program involves an online education program followed by a practical test.
