Peachtree City is a hotbed of athletic activities for young and old alike through both organized and individual activities. If you're an active participant or just a fan, Peachtree City is the target for sports and leisure.
When it comes to youth sports, Peachtree City is recognized for having some of the state's best youth baseball, soccer, swimming, cheerleading and in-line hockey programs on both the school and club levels. Over 90 miles of multipurpose trails provide the canvas for some of the state's best runners and cyclists. Try out your BMX skills at the McIntosh Trail Complex or excel in the martial arts through the City's Recreation Department With so many things to do, it's a wonder how everyone can get it all in!
If you're looking to build that competitive edge after you've graduated, Peachtree City is still your choice. You can pick up an impromptu basketball or volleyball game at the Kedron Fieldhouse or Blue Smoke Park, watch the little ones play football at Riley Field or wind down your week with some fishing on the docks of Lakes Peachtree and Kedron. When you're ready for more challenges, get ready for the annual Peachtree City Classic 5K and 15K events that wind through the path system, or take the plunge in the City's annual triathlons for both youth and adults. You can also join one of the Recreation Deparment's Adult Basketball or Youth Volleyball leagues.
