Georgia State Park Discovery Backpack Kit

Georgia residents can now check out a stuffed backpack kit at any of the state's 400+ public libraries and/or, in combination with the already available Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites Pass for free with a valid library card. Each co-branded kit includes a sturdy, five-pocket backpack containing a pair of 5x30 binoculars, a guide to the Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites, a foldout Pocket Naturalist Guide to Georgia Wildlife, Georgia Birds, and Georgia Trees and Wildflowers. How it Works

• The Discovery Backpack Kit consists of a backpack with binoculars and three foldout, weatherproof guides: Georgia's Trees; Georgia's Wildlife; and Georgia's Trees and Wildflowers.
• The Backpack Kit can be checked out at the library circulation desk. The Backpack Kit is not available for holds.
• Check out period is one week (7 days) with the option of one renewal. Late fee is $3/day. 
• The Backpack Kit must be returned to the lending library.
• The Backpack Kit does NOT include a Georgia State Park and Historic Sites pass. The Georgia State park and Historic Sites Pass must be checked out separately.
• Replacement Cost: $75.
