Explorer Post

Are you between the ages of 14 and 18?
Do you want to learn what it takes to be a firefighter in a safe, fun environment?
Do you want to join a great organization and make new friends?

Peachtree City Fire Rescue has an Explorer Program that can do all of that and more!

Explorer 3

Peachtree City Fire Rescue and The Peachtree City Volunteer Firefighter's Association sponsor Explorer Post 209. Boys and girls aged 14 - 18 may join. Many former Post 209 members have gone on to careers in the Fire and EMS Field. Explorers meet every Thursday 6:30 PM - 9 PM. They train under the supervision of experienced firefighters in real firefighting drills. Explorers are allowed to participate in a ride-along program and are active in many Volunteer Association activities such as the annual pumpkin sale and Santa Run.

To join, bring a parent and stop by Station 81, 110 Paschal Road, on Thursday evenings during meeting time.

Explorers are affiliated with Learning for Life and The Boy Scouts of America.
