AAC Aprendiendo A Color Presents:
Things That Go (Ages 8-10)

Saturday, May 4th @ 2pm

Students will explore things that go connecting science, visual art techniques, and language art concepts.

Wear old clothes or bring an apron. All materials will be provided. Supplies are limited and registration is required.

Pokemon League (Ages 6+)
Thursday, May 9th at 3:30-7:30 pm
Thursday, may 23rd at 3:30-7:30 pm

Parents are welcome to come, but not required

Children must bring one of the following to participate:

  • A smartphone / tablet to play Pokemon Go for casual trading and battling.
  • A Nintendo 3DS to play Pokemon: Ultra Sun and Pokemon: Ultra Moon for casual trading and battling.
  • A Nintendo Switch to play Pokemon Let's Go: Eevee and Pokemon Let's Go: Pikachu for casual trading and battling.
  • Pokemon trading cards for casual trading and battling.

Activities for children who do not have one of the following:

  • Pokemon coloring sheets


  • One promotional trading card for coming (provided for free by the Pokemon Company.

Science Saturday (Grades 1-5)

Saturday, May 11th at 10:30am

Join the Peachtree City Library for Science Saturdays, where we explore science through crafts. During this month's program we will be building cup pyramids. This program will be held in the Story Time Area of the Children's Department. This program is free and open to the public, however registration is required.

CAREing Paws Corgi

CAREing Paws, Come Read to a Dog

Saturday, May 11th & 25th @ 10:00 am

The CAREing Paws Program utilizes registered therapy dogs to improve literacy skills for children. If your child struggles with reading this may be for you. It is designed to boost the self-esteem of new readers. Open to children in Grades K-5.

The library offers six 20 minute slots. Parents must call in advance to reserve a time for their child. Children may bring a book or choose a book at the library.
