Kids and Teens Used Book Sale

Saturday, February 5th @ 10:00am-1:00pm

Come one, come all to the Peachtree City Library's Annual Children's Used Book Sale.

Books for sale will include Children's, Teens, and Parenting Books. Most books will be priced at $1 or less. Only cash or checks will be accepted. The book sale benefits the Peachtree City Library's children's Summer Reading Program. The book sale will be held in the Story Time Area of the Children's Department.

Parents are welcome to come, but not required

Children must bring one of the following to participate:

  • A smartphone / tablet to play Pokemon Go for casual trading and battling.
  • A Nintendo 3DS to play Pokemon: Ultra Sun and Pokemon: Ultra Moon for casual trading and battling.
  • A Nintendo Switch to play Pokemon Let’s Go: Eevee and Pokemon Let’s Go: Pikachu for casual trading and battling.
  • Pokemon trading cards for casual trading and battling.

CAREing Paws Corgi

CAREing Paws, Come Read to a Dog

Saturdays, January 8th & 22nd @ 10:00 am
Saturdays, February 12th & 26th @ 10:00 am

The CAREing Paws Program utilizes registered therapy dogs to improve literacy skills for children. If your child struggles with reading this may be for you. It is designed to boost the self-esteem of new readers. Open to children in Grades K-5.

The library offers six 20 minute slots. Parents must call in advance to reserve a time for their child. Children may bring a book or choose a book at the library.
