Things to See in PTC

Peachtree City is home to a year-round calendar of special events, including the biggest 4th of July celebration south of Atlanta, the annual Great Georgia Air Show, Shakerag Arts & Crafts Festival, Touch-A-Truck, the Spring Garden Show, and cultural festivals.

Explore the paths, picnic by the lake, take in a round of golf, go shopping, dine at one of our many restaurants, relax and read or surf the Internet at the Library, watch a local sporting event, find a bargain at a local yard sale, or enjoy a concert at The Fred – there is always something to do in Peachtree City!

Have you seen it?
The Flat Creek boardwalk (pictured right) puts you in the middle of the 500-acre Flat Creek Nature Area, owned by the City of Peachtree City. Visitors may catch a glimpse of herons, beavers, and other native wildlife in this tranquil setting. Park at the Amphitheater and walk to the boardwalk, or take the paths right to the entrance.

Tinsley Mill – not just a street or a neighborhood, but the ruins of the original mill from which these modern locations take their name. Located on Flat Creek between Lake Kedron and Flat Creek Golf Course, the site now features a modern picnic area next to a piece of Peachtree City and Fayette County history.
