National Fire Accreditation
Seeking National Accreditation
The Peachtree City Fire Department is seeking National Accreditation under the auspices of the Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI).

Process
National Accreditation provides a process and a yardstick to insure that the Department is providing quality services that are appropriate and cost effective, and that fulfill the needs and expectations of the community. The process of achieving National Accreditation will be thorough and intense. It will require dedication of willpower, manpower, time, and other resources. The few Departments who have attained National Accreditation all report that it was the most strenuous exercise they have ever completed. They all also reported that it was the most rewarding experience that either they or their community had achieved.

Insurance Services Office
Peachtree City Fire/Rescue is proud to announce the lowering of Peachtree City’s Insurance Service Office (ISO) Public Protection Classification. Peachtree City will change from a “Class Four” to “Class Three” as of February 2010, following an evaluation that the Fire Department requested this year. As a “Class Three” department, Peachtree City now ranks in the top 6.4% of the 55,094 fire departments nationwide.

Citizen Feedback
Citizen comments on the types and quality of services provided are welcome and encouraged. They may be provided to the Fire Department at telephone (770) 631-2526, Voice Mail (770) 631-2588 ext. 2093, or to any of the Department Officers.
