National Fire Accreditation
Seeking National Accreditation
The Peachtree City Fire Department is researching the cost/benefit analysis of seeking National Accreditation under the auspices of the Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI).

National Accreditation provides a process and a yardstick to insure that the Department is providing quality services that are appropriate and cost effective, and that fulfill the needs and expectations of the community. The process of achieving National Accreditation will be thorough and intense. It will require dedication of willpower, manpower, time, and other resources. The few Departments who have attained National Accreditation all report that it was the most strenuous exercise they have ever completed. They all also reported that it was the most rewarding experience that either they or their community had achieved.

Insurance Services Office
Peachtree City Fire/Rescue is proud to announce the lowering of Peachtree City’s Insurance Service Office (ISO) Public Protection Classification. Peachtree City to a "Class One" Community, Peachtree City now ranks in the top 1% of the 55,094 fire departments nationwide.
