Camp Grundschule (Ages 4-8)
Saturday, February 2nd @ 10am

As a Girl Scout Gold Award Project, please join us for a fun day of learning about the German culture and language! Camp Grundschule will include a bilingual story time, a craft, German snacks and baked goods along with singing, dancing, and simple German phrases to learn. The program is free and open to the public, however registration is required.

Pokemon League (Ages 6+)
Thursdays, February 7th, 14th, 21st, & 28th @ 4-6pm
Saturday, February 23rd @ 12-4pm
Parents are welcome to come, but not required

Children must bring one of the following to participate:
- Smartphone / tablet for Pokémon go for casual trading and battling
- A Nintendo 3DS to play Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon for battling and trading
- A Nintendo Switch to play Pokemon Let’s Go: Eevee and Pokemon Let’s Go: Pikachu for casual trading and battling.
- Pokemon trading cards for causal trading

Activities for children who do not have one of the following:
- Pokémon coloring sheets

Prizes:
- One promotional trading card for coming (provided for free by the Pokémon company)

Black History Month Program
"Celebrating Black History Through Stories"
Saturday, February 9th @ 10:30 am

Come one, come all and hear a story! The PTC Library and the Southern Crescent Storytellers present “Celebrating Black History Through Stories”. This all ages event features stories about folk heroes, family legends, historical figures, and people and places near and far. Storytellers include Verna Muthoni, Lucille Campbell, Suzanne Ball, Labsi Gemechis, Lady B, and Gemechis Buba as the Emcee. No registration required. This event is free and open to all ages and will be held in the Story Time Area of the Children’s Department.
