Author Dan A. Aldridge, Jr. presents
To Lasso the Clouds: The Beginning of Aviation in Georgia

Tuesday, June 13th @ 6:30 pm

Based on his book To Lasso the Clouds: The Beginning of Aviation in Georgia, the author tells the story of the first airplane flight in Georgia, a story that has been told incorrectly for more than one hundred years. Aviation and Georgia history buffs will enjoy learning about the two men from Athens, Georgia, who would be called the “second pair of Wright Brothers”. This event is free, open to the public and will be held in the Floy Farr Room of the library.

No registration required.
