  2. Outdoor Burn Ban In Effect Until October 1

    May 1 - September 30 @ The Outdoor Burning Ban affects 54 counties in Georgia, including 19 counties in the metro Atlanta area.

    The State Mandated Outdoor Burning Ban begins Tuesday, May 1, and is in effect through Sunday, September 30. No burn permits for outdoor burning will be issued during this time. Recreational fires and fires used for cooking are allowed and do not require a permit. For more information, call the Fire Marshal’s Office at 770-631-2526.

  1. ARC Mobile Career Resource Center

    May 7, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Upper Level Parking Lot, Peachtree City Library

    The Mobile Career Resource Center is a 13-station state of the art fully accessible computer lab. The unit offers a full array of services and has a private interview area as well as the option of dividing the classroom area into two separate rooms. The Mobile Career Resource Center provides workforce solutions for businesses and individuals. Businesses may use the mobile unit for recruiting, pre-employment screening, interviewing and training. Individuals will be served through various job search/career development activities such as on-line job search, resume and cover letter development, on-line tutorials and individual assessments and exploration of training eligibility and options. The Mobile Career Resource Center is FREE and open to the public.
