The State Mandated Outdoor Burning Ban begins Tuesday, May 1, and is in effect through Sunday, September 30. No burn permits for outdoor burning will be issued during this time. Recreational fires and fires used for cooking are allowed and do not require a permit. For more information, call the Fire Marshal’s Office at 770-631-2526.

Due to the rainy conditions, the outdoor Memorial Day Ceremony has been cancelled.
The event takes place at the Veterans’ Memorial at City Hall Plaza, and will pay homage to those that have paid the ultimate price. The ceremony begins at 9:00 AM until approximately 10:00 AM. Light refreshments will be served. Presented by the City of Peachtree City, in conjunction with Marine Corps League Detachment 1325, VFW Post 9949, and American Legion Post 50. Event will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
