The first ever Mayor’s Ride in Peachtree City will also mark the dedication of a new pump track bicycle facility on Saturday, May 13th. The Mayors Ride is a family-friendly bicycling event held during May, which is also National Bicycle Month. The pump track dedication at 9am will include the annual city proclamation recognizing May as National Bicycle Month.
Activities for the Mayor’s Ride after the dedication will include organized rides with guides on the multi-use path system, road rides, bicycle repair demonstrations by local bike shops, local bicycle club displays, and the police bicycle safety program. The BMX track will also host open entry BMX racing at 2pm, with gate practice and registration beginning at noon. For all ride events, cyclists must wear a helmet to participate.

Learn the art of painting and mixed media using acrylics and tempura. Be sure to wear old clothes or an apron. Class is free, but registration is required.
