  1. Open Dragon Boat Practice on Lake Peachtree

    Weekly Dragon Boat crew lessons and practices on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. and Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. (evening time has changed through May). The public is invited, whether you plan on entering a team in the September Dragon Boat Races or not. $5 per person fee per training session covers paddles, life jackets, boats, and instruction. Wear boating clothes, sunscreen, and "wettable" shoes. Normal water safety rules (no practice during threat of thunder storms) will apply. It's challenging and fun. All levels are welcome, no experience necessary. The sport is accessible and inclusive. Open to everyone ages 14 and up - come as often as you like, just to have fun!

  4. All American 5k/10k Run/Walk

    American Legion Post 50 and the Peachtree City Running Club are again hosting its annual All American 5k/10k Run/Walk on Saturday, May 27th. Funds raised from this event will go towards supporting the Veteran and Youth programs sponsored by American Legion Post 50. Come out and support our Veterans by participating in this family oriented event.   5. Peachtree City Memorial Day Ceremony

    Please join us for the 19th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony on May 29th, 2017. The event takes place at the Veterans’ Memorial at City Hall Plaza, and will pay homage to those that have paid the ultimate price. The ceremony begins at 9:00 AM until approximately 10:00 AM. Light refreshments will be served. Presented by the City of Peachtree City, in conjunction with Marine Corps League Detachment 1325, VFW Post 9949, and American Legion Post 50. Event will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
