  6. Storytelling Workshop for Homeschoolers: Fairy Tale Retellings (Grades 2+)

    September 27, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ Children's Storytime Area

    This sessions theme is Fairy Tale Retellings. The instructors will help children learn the basics of creating, telling, and remembering stories. Instructors for this session are Anne Wallace, Teller-In-Waiting and Dr. Beth Anne Miles. A personal notebook and pen or pencil is required of each student at each class session. Classes are free and open to the public and will be held in the Storytime Area of the Peachtree City Library. Registration is required. Classes are open to grades 2+.

  9. Film Screening: Fat Boy Chronicles

    September 30, 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM

    Co-author and screenwriter Michael Buchanan will present the 2010 film Fat Boy Chronicles. An important film about empathy and bullying. There will also be a Q&A session immediately following the film screening. Doors will open at 6:00 pm and the film will begin at 6:30 pm. This event will be held in the Floy Farr Room located on the lower level of the Peachtree City Library. Attendees are asked to enter the library on the lower level. This program is free and open to the public.
