  1. Father Daughter Dance

    Girls ages 6-12 and their dads/father figures will enjoy a fun-filled evening featuring a red carpet entry, light refreshments, a professional keepsake photo, music, and dancing. Online registration begins JANUARY 2, 2019. Registration deadline is FEBRUARY 20, 2019. Space is limited, and this event fills quickly. Please register early to secure your spot!

  2. Adult Sensory Storytime

    This program is geared toward special needs adults. The program will include a storytime with a common theme, followed by a simple craft or activity that provides a sensory experience for special needs adults. For example: playing instruments, listening to music, building with legos, yoga poses, coloring and pasting, or creating something to take home.

  7. CAREing Paws, Come Read to a Dog

    February 23, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Children's Storytime Area

    The CAREing Paws Program utilizes registered therapy dogs to improve literacy skills for children. If your child struggles with reading this may be for you. Children must have a basic knowledge of reading. Open to children in Grades K-5. The library offers six 20 minute sessions. Parents must reserve a time slot in advance for their child. Children may bring a book or choose a book at the library. Registration Required. To register call the library at 770-631-2520.

    Have a hard time keeping up with all the books you've read? Want to see what your friends are reading? Want to know what your favorite authors are up to? Join the Peachtree City Library as we celebrate Read Across America with a demonstration of the world's largest reading app, Goodreads. We will demonstrate how to set up an account, search for books, create bookshelves, find your next great read, and even follow your favorite author. Feel free to bring in your tablets and mobile devices to follow along. This event is free and open to the public and will held in the lower level of the library in the Floy Farr Room.
